Our Faith

Christ Covenant Church has firm roots in the historic Christian faith. You can expect to hear teaching that flows out of the doctrine of the Trinity (“the Three and One-ness of God”), the full doctrine of Christ’s Incarnation (he is truly God the Son and truly and fully man), God’s creation of all things from nothing, and so on.

We subscribe to the Apostles’ Creed and Nicene Creed, the Definition of Chalcedon and the Athanasian Creed, as well as these Reformation Confessions: the Heidelberg Catechism, the Belgic Confession, and the Canons of Dort.

In line with those very confessions, however, we believe that the Bible is God’s inspired and authoritative Word, and is the judge of all confessions, writings, beliefs, and deeds of human beings. We therefore always want to be disciplined and reformed by God’s own Word, not only in our individual lives but also as a church community.
